Summary

This study examined whether high weekend visitor numbers at zoos influence when mammals give birth. Researchers analyzed birth records for 16 species across four British zoos to see if births decreased during busy weekends. The findings show that births occur randomly throughout the week, suggesting that weekend crowds do not delay or affect animal labor.
