TGF-β1/WISP1/Integrin-α interaction mediates human chondrocytes dedifferentiation

Transforming growth factor-beta 1 (TGF-β1) and WISP1 interact to cause chondrocyte dedifferentiation, primarily mediated by Integrin-αV. Integrin-α5 offers a protective effect against this WISP1-induced dedifferentiation.
