Ruminant pestiviruses in North Africa

Pestiviruses are common in Algerian cattle, with high infection rates found in dairy farms. This study identified Bovine viral diarrhea virus 1a (BVDV-1a) and highlighted the need for more research on ruminant pestiviruses in North Africa.
