• A comprehensive literature search was conducted across PubMed, EMbase, The Cochrane Library, CNKI, and Clinical Trials.gov up to May 2019.
• Studies published in English were included.
• The International Index of Erectile Function (IIEF) and Brief Male Sexual Function Inventory (BSFI) scores were primary outcome measures.

• Eleven studies involving 370 patients were included in the meta-analysis.
