    Background:

    • Serial plasma B2M measurements are non-specific but clinically useful in monitoring chronic graft-versus-host disease in BMT patients.
    • B2M monitoring may aid in the early detection and management of GVHD post-transplantation.
    • Further research could explore B2M's role in predicting or managing other BMT-related complications.
