Dermatofibrosarcoma Protuberans Found Within Procedural Scars: A Retrospective Review at a Tertiary Referral Cancer

Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans (DFSP) can develop in surgical scars. Over 10% of DFSP cases in this study originated from prior surgical sites, suggesting a potential link between scars and malignant transformation.
