Hyperprolactinemia, or high prolactin levels, is linked to active chronic graft-versus-host disease (cGVHD) in long-term survivors of allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplant (allo-HCT). Elevated prolactin may serve as a potential biomarker for cGVHD activity.
