To evaluate the challenges faced by dementia supporters.
To assess the practical implementation of dementia support activities post-training.

A study assessed dementia supporters' engagement in activities.
Data was collected six months after a training session.

Only 50% of trained dementia supporters initiated new support activities.
Significant challenges may hinder the practical application of training.
