Association between nitrated lipoproteins and vascular function in type 2 diabetes

Nitrated HDL (NT-HDL) is linked to poorer microvascular function in type 2 diabetes patients. This finding suggests NT-HDL may help identify individuals at risk for early diabetic microvascular complications.

- Plasma NT-HDL may serve as a valuable biomarker for identifying T2DM patients at risk of developing early microvascular complications.
- These findings highlight the role of nitrated lipoproteins in the pathogenesis of diabetic vascular dysfunction.
