Summary

Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) offer a simpler cell therapy for cerebral ischemia. Preconditioning PBMCs with oxygen-glucose deprivation (OGD-PBMCs) shows promising therapeutic effects for ischemic stroke treatment.
