Early predictors for mechanical ventilation in COVID-19 patients

Predictors for mechanical ventilation in COVID-19 patients were identified. Glucocorticoid use, elevated neutrophil counts, and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) or procalcitonin (PCT) levels predict the need for invasive or non-invasive ventilation.
