Staphylococcus infection-associated glomerulonephritis (SAGN) and IgA nephropathy (IgAN) share histologic features, but proteomic analysis reveals distinct biomarkers. Monocyte/macrophase proteins in glomeruli and altered tubulointerstitial proteins help differentiate these kidney diseases.
