Assessing 10-Year Safety of a Single Negative HPV Test for Cervical Cancer Screening: Evidence from FOCAL-DECADE

A single negative human papillomavirus (HPV) test offers long-term protection against cervical precancer. Even after 10 years, the risk of detecting cervical intraepithelial neoplasia grade 2 or worse (CIN2+) remains low, supporting extended screening intervals.
