Study on Precipitating Factor of Chronic Hepatic Encephalopathy

- Biochemical abnormalities revealed low hemoglobin (70.0%), low platelet count (68.0%), and low serum albumin (98.0%).
Conclusions:
- Electrolyte imbalance, constipation, infections, upper gastrointestinal bleeding, and diuretic use are the most frequent precipitating factors for hepatic encephalopathy.
- Identifying and managing these factors is crucial for patient outcomes.
- Further research into HE mechanisms and management is warranted.
