Elevated Platelet Parameter in First-Episode Schizophrenia Patients: A Cross-Sectional Study.

Platelet parameters and inflammation markers are elevated in first-episode schizophrenia (FES) patients compared to healthy controls and first-episode depression (FED) patients. These findings support serotonin and inflammation hypotheses in schizophrenia and may help differentiate FES from FED.
