Steroidogenic acute regulatory protein-related lipid transfer 4 (STARD4) promotes breast cancer (BRCA) progression by increasing proliferation and migration while suppressing apoptosis. High STARD4 expression correlates with poorer survival in BRCA patients, indicating its oncogenic role.
