[Embolization of the splenic artery in liver cirrhosis]

An experience with 70 embolizations of the splenic artery in 62 patients points to the importance of differential approach in choosing this method of treatment. Of primary importance in solving this problem is thought to be the degree of the disease which must determine the variant of reduction of the splenic bloodflow.
