Summary

Automated spelling scoring using distance metrics offers a fast and objective alternative to manual scoring for individuals with aphasia. The normalized Damerau-Levenshtein distance metric showed the highest accuracy in this study.

  • Evaluation based on correlation coefficients between automated and manual scoring methods.
