Abstract:
It has been proved again and again that preparatory measures are essential prerequisites for durable prosthetic treatment results which are satisfactory from the functional and prophylactic viewpoints. Therefore, it is recommended to prepare the patient for treatment and to pretreat with equal care both the remaining teeth and the edentulous jaw regions that will be used as supporting structures.
