Abstract:
The suffering of student nurses during their practice placement is a worrying phenomenon. Comprehensive and qualitative research has drawn attention to the painful experience of eight students. Their unique contextual and structural vulnerability means all those with a role to play in their learning must consider how they can provide more effective support.
