Abstract:
Etretinate is a valuable addition to the treatment of psoriasis. Because of its numerous side effects, it should be reserved for only pustular, erythrodermic, and severe cases of plaque-type psoriasis. Many patients whose psoriasis has been recalcitrant to conventional therapy may greatly benefit from this drug.
