- Functional tests, specifically the 30-second sit-to-stand (30STS) and Short Physical Performance Battery (SPPB), are simple, cost-effective tools for screening sarcopenia in moderate COPD patients.
- These validated cutoff points can aid clinicians in early identification and management of sarcopenia in this vulnerable population.
