Preeclampsia is not associated with elevated muscle sympathetic reactivity

This study found that increased chemoreflex activity does not augment muscle sympathetic nervous system activity (MSNA) in preeclampsia. Findings challenge the notion of sympathetic hyperactivity in preeclampsia, suggesting alternative therapeutic targets.
