Abstract:
Antineoplastic chemotherapy of pancreas carcinoma remains to be an area of intensive research. There are no convincing suggestions for far as to clinical superiority of polychemotherapy. However, combined methods seem to improve survival in cases of both advanced and surgically removed pancreas carcinoma. New, effective pharmaceuticals should be looked for in the foreseeable future. Interdisciplinary approaches will continue to be of great importance.
