Common inner ear and internal auditory canal malformations, specifically cochlear nerve canal and internal auditory canal stenosis, are frequent in children with single-sided deafness (SSD). High-resolution computed tomography (HRCT) of the temporal bone is valuable for diagnosing these conditions.
