Summary

Laser-Doppler flowmetry (LDF) objectively measures dental pulp blood flow to assess dentin hypersensitivity (DH) treatments. This method provides reliable, quantitative data for monitoring oral health interventions, unlike subjective verbal rating scales.

Background:

Purpose of the Study:

  • To evaluate laser-Doppler flowmetry (LDF) as a functional tool for assessing dental pulp vascular micro-dynamics in DH.
