This study introduces a generalized quantum teleportation protocol for two-qubit entangled states using partially entangled particles. A novel probabilistic resumable scheme ensures the teleported state is recoverable upon failure, enabling repeated attempts with weak or strong entanglement channels.
Area of Science:
- Quantum Information Science
- Quantum Communication
Background:
- Quantum teleportation enables the transfer of quantum states between distant locations.
- Entangled particles are crucial resources for quantum communication protocols.
Purpose of the Study:
- To present a generalized quantum teleportation protocol for two-qubit entangled states.
- To develop a probabilistic resumable scheme for robust quantum state transfer.
Main Methods:
- Utilizing two pairs of partially entangled particles as the quantum channel.
- Analyzing the optimal probability of successful teleportation based on superposition coefficients.
- Implementing a resumable scheme to recover the teleported state upon failure.
Main Results:
- The optimal teleportation probability is dictated by the smallest superposition coefficient of the quantum channel.
- The proposed resumable scheme allows for state recovery and repeated teleportation attempts.
- Both weak and strong entanglement channels can be effectively used for successful teleportation through repetition.
Conclusions:
- The generalized protocol and resumable scheme enhance the feasibility of two-qubit entangled state teleportation.
- Information loss is prevented in failed teleportation attempts, allowing for iterative processes.
- This work expands the applicability of quantum teleportation using various entanglement strengths in quantum channels.

Entropy and the Second Law of Thermodynamics
The relation between entropy and disorder can be illustrated with the example of the phase change of ice to water. In ice, the molecules are located at specific sites giving a solid state, whereas, in a liquid form, these molecules are much freer to move. The molecular arrangement has therefore become more randomized. Although the change in average...
