A method to predict ventricular fibrillation shock outcome during chest compressions

A new algorithm predicts ventricular fibrillation (VF) shock success during cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). This method can guide resuscitation therapy in real-time for cardiac arrest patients.

- A novel algorithm accurately predicts defibrillation success and functional survival during ongoing CPR in VF arrest.
