Background:

Anxiety is a significant nursing concern.
A comprehensive understanding of anxiety-related nursing data, diagnoses, and interventions is needed.

Purpose of the Study:

To systematically map the existing literature on nursing data, diagnoses, and interventions related to anxiety.
To identify patterns and gaps in the current body of knowledge.

Main Methods:

A scoping review methodology was employed, adhering to Joanna Briggs guidelines and PRISMA checklist.
Searches were conducted across MEDLINE, CINAHL, and Web of Science, yielding 829 articles, of which 165 were included.

Main Results:

The nursing diagnosis of "anxiety" serves as a parent diagnosis with derived "child" diagnoses.
Data contributing to anxiety diagnoses include cognitive and somatic indicators.
Educational and music-based interventions appear effective for addressing anxiety-related nursing diagnoses.

Conclusions:

The findings provide a valuable framework for systematizing the nursing process concerning anxiety.
Establishing consensus on the nursing process for anxiety management is crucial for practice and research.
