Protective multi-epitope candidate vaccine for urinary tract infection

A novel multi-epitope vaccine was developed to combat urinary tract infections (UTIs) caused by common bacteria like E. coli and Klebsiella. This vaccine stimulates T-cells for broad immune protection against these pathogens.

Background:
- Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are frequently caused by related Gram-negative bacteria, including extraintestinal pathogenic Escherichia coli (ExPEC), Proteus mirabilis, and Klebsiella pneumoniae.
