"Benign" temporal lobe epilepsy with hippocampal sclerosis: A forgotten entity?

Late-onset mesial temporal lobe epilepsy with hippocampal sclerosis (MTLE-HS) can occur in adults over 50. These patients responded well to antiseizure medications (ASMs) and remained seizure-free for at least two years.
