Summary

Neutralizing the negative charge of the glomerular capillary wall (GCW) with polyethyleneimine (PEI) significantly increased the binding of anti-renal tubular epithelium (RTE) IgG in passive Heymann nephritis models. This suggests PEI enhances antibody-antigen interactions in the kidney.
