Background:

Purpose of the Study:

  • To evaluate the biodistribution and dosimetry of In-111 labeled liposomes in cancer patients.
  • To assess the potential of In-111 liposomes for tumor imaging.

Main Methods:

  • Neutral phospholipid vesicles (liposomes) were labeled with In-111.
  • 24 cancer patients received In-111 liposomes intravenously.
  • Scintigraphic scans were performed at 24 and 48 hours post-injection.
