Nitrendipine effectively lowers blood pressure in severe hypertension patients. This dihydropyridine derivative demonstrated significant reductions in blood pressure with minimal side effects over 30 days.

  • Dosing was initiated at 5 mg twice daily and titrated up to 40 mg twice daily.
