Summary
Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) was detected in stool samples from patients with acute gastroenteritis (AGE) symptoms. Although SARS-CoV-2 RNA was present in 27.5% of samples, infectious viruses were not observed.
