This study shows the Spaeth/Richman contrast sensitivity test (SPARCS) is a useful tool for monitoring vision changes in severe primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG). SPARCS offers a reliable, accessible method for tracking disease progression, especially in resource-limited settings.
