Background:

Purpose of the Study:

  • To assess the immediate outcomes of the Ross procedure.
  • To analyze results in patients undergoing reoperative and/or concomitant cardiac procedures.

  • A consecutive cohort of 702 patients undergoing the Ross procedure between 1987 and 2019.
  • Patients were stratified into simple (no prior sternotomy, minor concomitant procedures) and complex (prior sternotomy and/or complex concomitant procedures) groups.
