The transducer characteristic of hair cells in the human ear: a possible objective measure

We describe here a new kind of non-linear interaction between the responses to two simultaneously presented AM tones. The interaction occurs before the level of binaural convergence, and can be explained in terms of the shape of the inner ear hair cell transducer function.
