Proinflammatory cytokine polarization in type 2 diabetes

Subclinical inflammation is linked to type 2 diabetes (T2D). This study found elevated interferon gamma (IFN-γ) in T2D patients, suggesting pro-inflammatory cytokines may contribute to T2D development.
