Background:

Purpose of the Study:

  • To evaluate the macula structure and capillary network in the macula and optic nerve head of patients with recent small subcortical infarcts (RSSIs).
  • To compare microvascular densities and retinal nerve fiber layer thickness between RSSI patients and healthy controls.

  • An observational, cross-sectional study involving 40 RSSI patients and 46 healthy controls.
