Congenital myenteric hypoganglionosis, a rare cause of neonatal intestinal pseudoobstruction, is diagnosed by identifying small, abnormal myenteric ganglia. This study provides diagnostic guidelines and highlights a deficiency in intrinsic primary afferent neurons.
