Summary

Virtual reality cognitive training shows promise for improving attention and cognitive flexibility in individuals with alcohol use disorder (AUD). This pilot study suggests VR interventions are feasible and effective for AUD recovery.

Background:

Purpose of the Study:

  • To assess the feasibility of VR-based cognitive training for AUD patients in residential treatment.
  • To estimate the effect size of VR cognitive training on cognitive functions in AUD.
