Habitual endurance running does not mitigate age-related differences in gait kinetics

Habitual endurance running did not alter age-related gait kinetics in older adults. Older runners showed similar ankle joint kinetics but larger hip joint kinetics compared to non-runners, suggesting these gait differences are a normal part of aging.
