Summary

Pregnancy-related acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM) involves immune changes at the maternal-fetal interface. The HMGB1/TLR4/Nf-κB/IL-6 pathway activation may contribute to ADEM pathogenesis during pregnancy.
