Background:

Interdigitating dendritic cell sarcoma (IDCS) is a rare neoplasm originating from dendritic cells within lymphoid tissues.
The imaging characteristics of IDCS are not well-defined, posing diagnostic challenges.

A 48-year-old female presented with a growing retroperitoneal mass.
CT and MRI revealed a large, irregular, enhancing soft tissue mass with necrosis and cystic changes.
