Abstract:
A complication related to the gamete intrafallopian transfer (GIFT) procedure involving a sextuplet pregnancy is described. Selective reduction of the fetuses to two, with normal delivery at term, was able to be performed. Problems with regard to multiple pregnancy with this procedure are discussed as well as ways to decrease the probability of this occurring.
