Nontechnical skills training in cardiothoracic surgery: A pilot study

A new Non-Technical Skills in Surgery (NOTSS) curriculum significantly improved cardiothoracic surgery residents' cognitive and social skills. This pilot study shows the curriculum is feasible and assessments are reproducible for surgical education.
