Summary

Laser speckle contrast analysis (LASCA) did not detect significant differences in peripheral blood perfusion (PBP) in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients with active synovitis. This pilot study suggests LASCA may not be suitable for diagnosing RA-related inflammation via microvascular changes.
