IgG4 Expression in Patients with Eosinophilic Otitis Media

Eosinophilic otitis media (EOM), an intractable middle ear disease, shows higher local IgG4 expression. This suggests IgG4 plays a role in the pathogenesis of EOM, a condition marked by eosinophil-rich effusions.
