Summary

A brief functional analysis (FA) using 5-minute sessions effectively identifies problem behavior functions in individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). This abbreviated FA, followed by differential reinforcement of alternative behavior (DRA), proves efficient for clinical practice.
